Hello, I'm Aaron. My fascination with radio communications began in my youth with CB radio, a constant companion that nurtured my early interest in communication technologies. By the age of 10, I was already building my first antenna, a 1/4 wave vertical using a bicycle rim as a ground plane, signaling the start of a lifelong passion in radio communications.

In 1992, I became a licensed ham radio operator, a milestone that further expanded my horizons in radio communication. My involvement in ham radio has been multifaceted, bridging continents, supporting emergency communications, and joining a global community of radio enthusiasts.

At 19, my professional journey in radio communication took a leap forward. I started working for a tower company, building communication towers, installing antennas, and laying transmission lines across the country. This hands-on experience profoundly deepened my technical skills and understanding of radio communications. Transmitting from atop towers, my voice would often carry across the airwaves of central Florida, connecting me with the wider radio community.

Alongside my ham radio activities, I underwent a significant career transition. For the past 20 years, I have been immersed in the world of information technology, specializing as a Linux and Windows systems engineer and architect. This role has allowed me to delve deep into the complexities of these operating systems, playing a crucial role in shaping our digital infrastructure.
